The Monetary Authority of Singapore has announced new measures to enhance fraud surveillance in response to rising phishing scams. Effective December 16, banks will be required to block or hold suspicious transactions exceeding $25,000 for 24 hours. 

The Thai government is set to introduce a 300-baht travel tax, beginning with air passengers, according to the Tourism and Sports Ministry.
